Quality/Durability
The House of Noa play couches are the first ones to have stripes and patterns in a modern, higher-end aesthetic. Their fabric is higher quality than most play couches, but the price reflects that. The covers are removable and machine-washable, which I love to see. The base cushions are sewn together but are equal thickness (compared to Nugget which has one (1) thick, one (1) thin). The thick bases are great for building forts, ramps, and obstacle courses. The soft furniture covers are Greenguard Gold certified and pass California’s TB 117-2013, CPSIA testing, and do not use flame-retardant chemicals.
Foam Source
The House of Noa foam is made in China. The foam equal size and density. It’s firm enough for sustainable builds and forts! It is CertiPUR-US certified.
Fabric
There are currently 7 different fabric lines including a boucle. Each fabric line comes in 1-2 different colors/patterns.
They are Greenguard Gold certified.
Cost
The House of Noah play couch starts at $558+ for 6 pieces- this would be two (2) seats and two (2) backs. There are options add waterproof liners starting at $89.
Overall Value
The House of Noa gets a 7/10. I think they are one of the most solid, high-end play couches. They offer unique colors and fabric textures. The equally thick bases is a big draw. I appreciate the washable covers and the safety certifications. They are more expensive than other options and have less of a warranty than some play couches, like Figgy, which has a 10-year warranty. You cannot return the product once it is opened.
